A little bit about me. I have studied fine arts for a total of 19 years and art history for 7 years. I have been painting from the age of 14 and have loved painting ever since. While in my college years I studied graphic design and have a strong background in that field as well. I have been selling my artwork from 2003 and now I want to branch off online. I am very optimistic about the out come of this venture. I look forward to all the people I can help and inspire in any way related to art that I can. I hope that whom ever purchases any of my art pieces will enjoy them and hopefully look upon them with wonder.
A different way to see art and explore a new feeling and movement.
Every painting, drawing, cg work has a unique style that is only mine. My work tends to have an androgynous feel to it. Most of the time it is not intentional but there are times when that is the look or feeling I am going for. I believe that this comes out in my work most of the time because I am very feminine but I can be masculine at times. Lets face it men and women are not just masculine or feminine. I believe that we are both. It’s just that femininity resides more in females than males and visa versa. This is my theory for the most part.
I hope that this helped in giving you a little more insight to whom I am as an artist.

I have studied fine art for 19 years and graphic design for 5 and been painting from the age of 14 years. I studied fine art from junior high school. I then attended a High School for the performing arts and arts in New York City; I was an art major there. I had a wonderful learning experience that led me to my next destination. I then majored in Graphic Design at a New York City College for 4 years. I was on the Deans Honor list for 4 semesters. I have since, worked as a Graphic Design Assistant at a clothing company in NYC, now I am a Graphic Designer that paints as well. I paint and design my own works on my leisure time. I truly love to create and possibly move people through my work. Art allows me to express and share my emotions and thoughts. I believe that we all go through life wanting to be known for who we really are in side. Why do we paint? For ourselves...or for someone else? Or for everyone, then why? Simply put, people want to be known for who they are. I want to be known for who I truly am inside. So, I share my work with you. MonMon Magana
